My story

My name is Nina and Life In Colour was born in 2024 out of my desire to provide people with fun, handmade, unique and colourful items for their homes. After 15+ years at Google in London and Helsinki, I started studying interior design and joinery with the aim of realising my dream of doing something creative for a living. Cue a few months of hard work and lots of prototyping, and my first collection is ready! I hope you love it as much as I've loved creating it.

How I make my products

The products are all handmade in my workshop in Helsinki. I source top-quality Finnish birch plywood that I carefully cut, shape and sand before coming to the most fun part - getting creative with colour and texture.

Each item is unique so you can be safe in the knowledge that you won't come across the same item in someone else's home.
