Beings of unknown origin. Possibly celestial. Possibly from a very avant-garde knitting circle. They appear in pairs, usually near cheese platters or moments of intense introspection. Always watching. Never blinking.

Their expressions suggest kindness... or judgment. It’s hard to tell, and they like it that way. One stands taller, as if pretending to know what’s going on. The other hovers close behind, quietly questioning everything, including your choice of socks and your last text message.

Draped in mysterious spotted robes and bathed in a coppery aura of ambiguity, they are definitely something. But what, exactly? That’s for you to nervously ponder while avoiding eye contact.
